We undertook a review of the reward and incentive arrangements for the sales professionals at St. James’s Place in order to assess whether individual and team performance could be improved and if additional mechanisms need be established to increase ‘discretionary effort’.

Our review recommended changes to the performance rating processes, increased emphasis on measuring and rewarding collaborative/team success, simplification of the bonus mechanisms and introducing additional non-financial recognition awards to celebrate success.
