For many organisations digitalisation brings new, exciting opportunities for them to deal with their customers.  New technologies mean closer relationships and more engaged customer interactions…  However, the internal ramifications are giving organisations a bit of a headache.

OE Cam’s current European research has found that the over-riding attitude towards digitalisation is usually negative or, at best, indifferent. Those organisations who found more positive ‘joy’ in digital reported greater integration and quicker growth. Taking the time to consider the integration of digital systems and processes into your cultural identity seems to be key to being successful in the digital environment.

How do you change the mind-sets of those in the organisation to see digitalisation as a positive?

Please come along to our Learning & Development workshop on Tuesday 6th June in London to find out more.

We are moving towards a world of total digitalisation. Whilst some organisations are adapting well, others are struggling to manage the changes that the increase in technology brings – facing digital chaos, loss of control and a disengaged workforce.

This event will explore the opportunities for learning & development in a digital world and we are delighted to have Jay Sharpe, People Development Manager from international gaming company Jagex as our guest speaker. Jay has more than 10 years experience as an L&D professional, working in some of the most innovative and forward thinking organisations such as Apple and Vodafone. Jay will share his expertise of creating learning and development programmes which incorporate gamification to deliver exciting, impactful learning experiences and deliver sustainable behaviour change.

OE Cam will then facilitate group discussions to debate the key themes and share the insights from our latest European research into the people and organisational implications of digitalisation. The research investigates the change in leadership styles and capabilities required to work in an increasingly digital workplace and defines which factors are key to organisational success.
