We advised the Council on the reconfiguration of their research institutes; the British Antarctic Survey, British Geological Service, Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, National Centre for Atmospheric Science, National Centre for Earth Observation and the National Oceanography Centre.
We supported the Senior Executive team as they led the restructuring of the Research Council. NERC lacked a comprehensive, strategically focused senior development programme. We worked with HR, the Board and senior managers to create a leadership model, define the competency framework & programme design. The new leadership model was aligned to long-term strategic changes and business plans and informed the competency framework for board/senior managers.
