OE Cam is seeking a Business Psychology Consultant to join our team. Although working across the business, this role will focus on Learning and Development (L & D) projects, supporting our clients to build capability within their teams.

The OE Cam approach to learning and development practices incorporates a strong grounding of psychological principles applied in a tangible way for our clients. We focus particularly in the development of thinking and mindset to ensure long-term changes in behaviour.

You will be joining the team at an exciting time of new development and growth; with the opportunity to help shape, and directly impact, the OE Cam proposition as it moves forward. To enable this, we are looking for high levels of curiosity and creativity, high self-motivation and the ability to problem-solve and collaborate with the internal team and our clients as a trusted partner.

We are a boutique consultancy, with an impressive client base.  We are trusted advisors to top UK and international companies, not for profit and public service organisations, across all sectors, and include names such as Associated British Foods, Arriva Trains, The Body Shop, Brakes, Coller Capital, Dept of Health & Social Care, Greene King, Goodwood, Mitie, NHS Trusts, Odeon, Primark and The Coal Authority.

Within this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work in partnership with clients to design contextually and culturally appropriate learning programmes/interventions – incorporating feedback and learning evaluation processes
  • Deliver leadership development programmes across a variety of different businesses, via face-to-face workshops and online learning
  • Facilitate and design bitesize learning sessions, both face-to-face and via webinar
  • Facilitate accredited learning programmes
  • Provide coaching to learners and teams to develop capability in their role and career
  • Provide support to the wider team on programme delivery.

Role requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field (e.g. Consultancy, HR, or Learning and Development)
  • Experience of successfully designing and facilitating interactive learning workshops/sessions in a variety of environments
  • Experience of coaching effectively in a professional environment, or working towards a coaching qualification
  • Prior experience of project management responsibilities (within a professional services firm is desirable but not essential)
  • An MSc in Occupational Psychology or another relevant area
  • BPS level qualification in psychometric testing (Levels A&B)

We encourage ongoing learning & development with opportunities to get involved in our European research projects as well as mentoring for professional qualifications.  We have a dynamic marketing programme and the whole team comes together twice a month to discuss ideas and co-create propositions and plan business development activities.  And we also encourage our team to undertake pro bono charity work.

OE Cam offers a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.  We share our success through inviting all our team members to become shareholders in the business.

Please note that all candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and hold a full drivers licence.

Although our Head Office is in Cambridge, the vast majority of our work is delivered in London.
