The theme for our next breakfast at The Shard is “Getting Even Closer to the Customer” we are delighted to have Richard Lewis, Group Integration Director from Greene King plc as our guest speaker.
In our recent OE Journal we explored how a business organises itself around the customer journey and the unintended consequences of customer-centricity as power shifts across the organisation causing disruption around the executive table… This event aims to bring these ideas to life with facilitated peer-group debate and practical case study from Greene King. Richard is currently leading the integration of Greene King and Spirit Pub Company and was previously Managing Director of Greene King’s Retail Division. In the last ten years Greene King has shifted from a ‘family brewer’ to become the largest pub company in the UK, including the recent £780m acquisition of Spirit. Richard will explain how they have developed as an organisation to not only deliver the basics better than the competition but how transforming leadership behaviours has enabled them to put the customer at the heart of everything they do
