Most of us share the aspiration of living life to our full potential and in the workplace this often includes maximising our personal impact to deliver a great job and making a positive difference to support colleagues. Part of unlocking such potential is about building individual capability – the world is changing and we need to continuously develop or refresh our leadership skills. This applies equally to men and women, but we recognise that women may learn best in a peer-group of women; hence OE Cam business psychologists have designed an open programme specifically for women making the move from manager to leader.
But that’s only half the story – it’s also important to look at the organisational context to ensure there are no ’silent blockers’ to leadership success. We’re delighted to welcome Sue Whalley as our guest speaker. Sue will share her personal reflections and then over lunch we will facilitate a roundtable debate to discuss the key challenges both at the individual and organisational level.
Our venue is Apricity, meaning warmth & light – the latest restaurant from award-winning chef owner Chantelle Nicholson and her team. With a focus on sustainability, they use seasonal foods from British farmers and were awarded a Michelin Green Star in 2023.
