Most organisations have delayed full implementation of hybrid working and so benchmarking – at the time of writing – is problematic. However, we do know some of the expected consequences of failure, such as proximity bias or claims of discrimination.
In the absence of hard data or a blueprint, a framework of ‘test, learn and adapt‘ is an advisable way to go, along with a pragmatic and optimistic mindset, to focus on the opportunities as well as the challenges.
In this article, Julie Brophy talks to theHRDirector about the rationale for returning to shared working environments and the role of HR in navigating the complexity of hybrid working.
